Players who wish to enter this instance may also use the portal activated in Dalaran, though it will only be available to players of the winning faction.

Generally, a portal to Wintergrasp appears in Dalaran for the controlling faction and observably disappears about an hour before battles begin. This usually means that defenders must make their way through flying mounts into the zone before the battle begins or wait until the game ensues whereupon their faction's respective Wintergrasp Battle-Mages will open a portal to allow reinforcements.

You can port to Wintergrasp from Dalaran, by the portal room. That is if the battle has already started or if you are defending the keep. If you're on offense the portal won't open until the battle begins.

I haven't studied this, but the following happened when I was watching: Battle for Wintergrasp started Exactly 5 minutes later he yells while casting the portal: [quote=Arcanist Braedin]Reinforcements are needed on the Wintergrasp battlefield! I have opened a portal for quick travel to the battle at The Silver Enclave. [/quote] My faction held Wintergrasp before this happened.

Arkanist Braedin und Magister Surdiel shouten eigentlich auch vor der Schlacht schon Texte. Vermutung ist allerdings, dass das wieder entfernt wurde.

An hour before each battle, an NPC in Dalaran -- Arcanist Braedin for the Alliance and Magister Surdiel for the Horde -- will yell that a battle will soon begin. He will repeat this battle cry again at thirty, fifteen, ten, and five minutes in order to alert the inhabitants of Dalaran to hopefully drive players into going to the zone. To make it easy, portals to Wintergrasp appear at the Silver Enclave and Sunreaver's Sanctuary.

He was notorious for repetitively yelling "Reinforcements are needed on the Wintergrasp battlefield! I have opened a portal for quick travel to the battle at The Silver Enclave." about every 30 seconds during the half hour before a Wintergrasp battle starts. It was so bad for some that an addon, BraedinStop, was made to help block out his yells. As of late, however, the yelling is less frequent.

Das "during the half hour before a Wintergrasp battle starts" meint die halbe Stunde, die die Schlacht dauert.

Je nachdem welchen Timestamp und welchen der beiden Gamepedia Einträge man sich anschaut, wurde das Yelling verringert oder komplett entfernt. Allerdings ohne Zeitangabe o.ä.
