I counted it 3 times, and others above me said the same as me.

Try to count from here:

There are 50 shown at each site.

On the first page there are actually only 47, because there are 3 others: Cooking - Apprentice, Basic Campfire and Cooking - Journeyman.
On second page there are also 47, because there are 3 others: Cooking - Expert, Cooking - Artisan and Cooking - Master
On the third page there only 22, because the rest is WotLK recipes, whose Reagents aren't decided yet. There are 27 WotLK recipes on the third page. And then the Cooking - Grand Master. Which gives 50.
On the fourth and last page, there are 17 WotLK recipes.

To spell it out, to those who still didn't get it. Those 22 on the third site is: Ravager Dog, Stormchops, Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops (hard to get :/), Kibler's Bits, Blackened Sporefish, Sporeling Snack, Blackened Basilisk, Stewed Trout, Grilled Mudfish, Poached Bluefish, Hot Apple Cider, Skullfish Soup, Spicy Hot Talbuk, Golden Fish Sticks, Roasted Clefthoof, Talbuk Steak, Warp Burger, Crunchy Serpent, Mok'Nathal Shortribs, Spicy Crawdad, Fisherman's Feast and Hot Buttered Trout. Which is 22.

Which gives us

47 + 47 + 22 = 116 attainable recipes currently.
3 + 3 + 1 = 7 others; 6 training cooking, and 1 campfire.
27 + 17 = 44 WotLK recipes, which is only what is in Wowhead's database right now.
116 + 7 +44 = 167.

And btw, it's the same on this site https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spells=9.185, which is the WotLK version. There has just been mentioned the reagents for some of coming recipes. Still my calculations are right.

And then at last: As I said before, some of you will maybe have 117 or 118 shown in your achievements. That is because of a bug in WoW. The achievement shows actually 2 more than you really got in your Cooking book.

I wonder why people rate me down, without commenting me? My information is actually very right, else correct me in word but not rating :)

Something changed with patch 3.0.8 -- evidently, the 2 "mystery" recipes that counted in your recipes list got removed.

Der erste Kommentar listet explizit die Skillstufen auf, um sie aus der Rechnung zu nehmen. Es wird zwar erwähnt, dass Pre-WotLK (vmtl prepatch weil es Erfolge ja in TBC noch nicht gab) der Counter 2 höher war als Rezepte erlernt waren. Der zweite Kommentar nimmt das quasi wieder auf und bestätigt, dass der Counter dann zu WotLK wieder runtergesetzt wurde. Ergo können die Skillstufen nicht mit in den Erfolg zählen.

Wenn man Kochen frisch erlernt, hat man 3 Rezepte aber der Counter ist bei 5, ich vermute dass derzeit ebenfalls das Lagerfeuer gezählt wird.
